  1. Hi!
Thank you very much for the quick updates of the Managed WordPress.

    BUT I have a question:
Why the hell did you add a permanent “Assistant 1&1” (“1&1 Wizard”, I guess, in english) button in the top toolbar?!?
Who does REALLY need to have this button permanently?

Is there a way to remove it? Can you please remove it? Do you REALLY think this button is helpful for your user? Why did you think it would be a good idea to add clutter? Who had this wonderful idea?
Instead, the button for the updates (with 2 arrows in circle) is not here anymore…

This is against your users, really.

thanks for your feedback. We will hand it over to our developers. For the future maybe we can implement an option to de-activate the plugin for advanced users who don’t want this.

      Best regards,
      Michael, 1&1

  2. Hello,

I have a couple of questions about the WP hosting I purchased a few days ago:

    1) How and where do I access the actual files of the website fow HTML CSS an JS editing because the interface realy disturbs me can’t manage anything done with it and I’d like to add my own feathures.

    2) I bought a domain at godaddy before I found out about your services and I’d like to transfer it to you and when I do ahead and do it with the acound panel it asks for an actiavation code that I don’t know how to provide.

Could you assist me with those questions?

Also what is the contact email for suport? all I could find is how to get a phone call support which I can’t preform sins I don’t have much time.

      Hi Michael,

thanks for reaching out to us. 🙂

to 1) You can, if you are in Standard mode and you do this: https://community.1and1.com/enabling-the-wordpress-theme-and-plugin-editor-wordpress-free-mode/ In Managed mode we don’t support this due to security and stability reasons.

to 2) Here you will find all informations about it: https://www.1and1.com/help/domains/domain-transfers-to-11/preparing-a-domain-transfer-with-godaddy-and-accessing-the-authorization-code/

      Best regards,
      Michael, 1&1
