I have introduced and now look after around 10 sites all WP managed and as a designer the number is growing. I’m overall happy with 1&1 but it’s now a month since 4.7.4 was released by WordPress and still my sites are running on 4.7.3. I have other sites managed by GoDaddy and they have been updated.

Can you advise when 1&1 will have completed this task.

      Hi Brian,

I am sorry that your installation has not yet been udpated to 4.7.4. Has to be a bug. I forwarded this to our administration. As soon as it’s resolved you’ll get an information via e-mail.

      Best,
      Michael, 1&1

I was also here after noticing that 4.7.4 was out and our site is still on 4.7.3, but I now notice 4.7.5 is also out. Hopefully the auto-update will work this time?

      Hi Edward,

  3. I am also waiting for several sites to be updated to 4.7.5.

Any updates appreciated. (No pun intended)

I got a question, i updated wp and then when i use wordfence security scan, the plugin show me some warnings with format .ini? I want to know why, and all the warnings .ini are from plugins that are already installed with wp. Can you help me to know if they are secure, should i ignore them?

    1. 1and1help says:

      Hi Julian,

is WordFence warning because of the entries inside the .ini file or because of the extension type itself?

If it alarms you only because of the type “.ini” you can ignore it. If it’s because of its content, you should check what kind of entries are made in this files.

      Best regards,
      Michael, 1&1
