Failed to automatically update to WordPress 4.7.1. with the message below. What should I do next?
“The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.: wp-admin/includes/update-core.php
    Installation Failed”

      Hi,

all I can say is that in your case this does not have to do anything with the WordPress update. Please get in touch with our support team.

      Thanks,

This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.
After the update – I keep receiving the error on my Contact Form in the From dialogue box???

All I have done is change the name before @ .??
I have been high and low and read recommendations from WordPress itself and nothing is helping??

    1. 1and1help says:

      Hi Natalie-Julianna,

that’s not an issue on our servers but a configuration problem with the Contact Form plugin you are using. Maybe this forum thread helps: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/this-email-address-does-not-belong-to-the-same-domain-as-the-site/
