Hello there,
I’m currently rcreating a podcast and I’m looking for the best way to set it up on the web.
I would like to use WordPress, I’ve got that far at least, decision-wise, but hosting and storage of audio files etc are still to be sorted.
1&1 seem to be highly recommended so do you have any suggestions/facilities to offer that would help me get this type of project working smoothly ?
All the best,
Martin H .
Hi Martin H.,
with our Managed WordPress products we offer a pre-set of Podcast plugins, made with love by Potlove: https://podlove.org/
Here you can find more details about the 1&1 Managed WP packages in general: https://www.1and1.com/wordpress-blog-hosting#Packages

I’m trying to add an Instagram button to my website but there doesn’t seem to be one in the ‘insert elements’ section. Can you help with this please? Thank you.
There are ones for Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter but not Instagram
Hi Suzanne,
you are using the last gen MyWebsite. In our new MyWebsite editor (we are planning to migrate the old ones in the future), you can find a Instagram button by default in the social media elements.
As a workaround for your website, you might find an Instagram badge on the web, which you can add to your website as a picture with link or embed it via the html widget element if necessary.
Best regards,
Michael, 1&1
